25mm British and French Napoleonic Form Square Cavalry Back in the 70s and 80s played a lot of Napoleonic games and just a few time did I need to form a square with my Infantry only to see the Cavalry get bounced off and then find the square get targeted by artillery . The biggest Waterloo game I have played in was at Nettelbed school in the late 70s 32foot long 10 foot wide with two 16foot ends I---I but it that game no squares .Just 72 Royal Scots Greys Going for the grand French Battery 3 of us lads had a regiment of RSG of 24 each that why 72 of them . Having just painted the some French 1st Regiment Guard Lancers up got me thinking what would in look like if I could use my British in Square and all my French cavalry attacking it . Down side no horses for the 1st Lances .

25mm ACW Union Infantry

25mm Union Infantry In the second lockdown(November ) painted a few more figures then started to get board doing that . So out came my ACW armies lists . What Offers have I for the divisions ? good one lets get the Infantry out on the table . Worked out 5 regiments to a division. Well 5 regiments fit in the box why not. Back in the 1980s started to the numbers the bases of the figures with the number from the old DVD blank tapes you would get with them . Numbers I-5 6-10 11-15 16-20 21-22. States are mixed up in the division . Now if you are one of the war gamers that must have the correct regiments with in a division or in an army to play a game well done.

25mm ECW Artillery

50 years or so I thought I must get in to English Civil War gaming. One of my wargames friends Jim was a reactor in a ECW regiment. Talking at our Monday nights games I said I had got a lot of ECW figures all unpainted. The answer came back for one of the lads fined a good set of rules that work and we will have a game. That was in the 1980s Painted the Infantry over the years and in 2016 finished the last of them now just finished the Artillery all guns and crew are Hinchliffe figures
