25mm A.C.W Campaign part 1

25mm A.C.W. campaign
Will all my ACW figures now painted and that's taken  over 30 years. I know its a long time but then we do paint other things do we not?
Now most campaigns start with a map good place to start but why make things easy .So just lade out a table diced to see wear on the map the table well be magic. When the next table go down it can join the map if it next to the first table then it has to join up but if not all's well. So far so good keep up

All regiments are had minima training so none have had any battle experience and march discipline is poor ( dice will see when they get on the table ) Making Morale poor as well
Union has 4 Regiments of foot and one Cavalry
Confederates 4 Regiments of foot

Both sides are to take and hold town (Smithville) as it has a watermill .

A USA Regiment on the table  Mover 1
CSA Regiment on the table move 1
Move 3 USA cavalry on table by move 4 over taken infantry on the road
Move 5 CSA has 2 more regiments on the table moving down the road
Move 6 USA Cavalry now near the bridge
All that can be seen through my periscope of the CSA troops on the bridge not a lot
Move 7 Lances move in to contacted

Melee Lancers win first melee then Move 8 second melee Infantry win
Moral both units want to go home so pull back
Lancers pulling back poor Morale dice
Move 10 Regiment lodes wepons

CSA Regiment on the way back over the bridge

CSA Troops move up to the bridge

Move11 CnC holts Lances More USA troops on the way
Fresh CSA troops move over the bridge

Move 14 CSA form line lode and fire USA fire

USA troops move in to town to try a flanking move on the bridge

USA moving over and round wall slow them down
Move16 CSA troop moving to the right flank on a wall

Move 17 USA troops now start to form a line for a push up to the river road and stop CSA lining the wall with troops
Move 19 USA troops move forward to the bridge
Lancers trying to stay out of the way
Moves 20 to 24 Fire fight
CSA troops stop and send back USA flanking attack

USA troops lose fire fight and with one Regiment still in tacked move off the table
