25mm French Indian Wars

French Indian wars in 25mm doing thinks the old way maybe Going back to the 1970s Pick up a book by Rupert Furneaux The Seven Years War . Once read it got me thinking do I got in to this as a war game .Having done and still do Napoleonic wargams in 25mm would be the same but then with North America a lot different Primeval Forests movement by rivers very roads. Indians out laying forts homesteads all this and more nice skirmish games. Figures next Steve Thomson at the time run Garrison models and a club member down at our club WAR had a chat with him figures sorted . Had a wooden Roman fort that well do for a start . Painted figures for both sides French and British made up some basic rules Got two club members to try the rules out ok so far but need to make better and try to make them idiot proof ( well wargams will find faults with all rules we all do but that dose not make us idiots ) Now its gone from a skirmish game to a large game how many of us have gone from buying 20 odd figures then ill buy a few more . Figures in the photos are Garrison lots of Parkfield few Hinchliffe plus any I have see at shows but can not thing who they are. Just a though could the seven years war be called the First World War if you thing no just have a look at all the battles that have taken place .
