Game at WAR on the 16/3/2016
Village held by the US Paratroopers with the help of shore Naval gunfire .
Luftwaffe ground troops to retake the village
Knowing that Mike did not have any tanks and told I could have some I used two Stugs
with 105mm guns .
Game got off to a good start but started to take a lot of infantry casualties from the houses pull back the infantry . The Stugs then started to demolish the houses Having left all my cotton wool at home one club member said turn the houses over when they have been demolish. So far so good but then US army units started to come on to the table. Luftwaffe troops started to pull back to the base line. then in to my boxes. Its a bit hard to stop a 15inch shell from a battle wagon .
