25mm British 15th Hussars
25mm British 15th Hussars
Having painted my 15th Hussars back in the 70s in a unit of 24 to match all other Cavalry in my Napoleonic’s armies I know a bit on the big side ( Infantry units 50 men 3 officers 3 drummers and 1 or 2 standards and 2 NCO as well may be a bit over the top in this day and age).
When club members pass on to the big wargams table in the sky and have left a few figures most wargams clubs will auction the odd box of figures and you tend to buy them at more then the face value . Not until you get them home and have a good look to see what you have paid for . Yep more Hussars put them to one side 30 odd years later think ill paint them one good thing there all Hinchliffe figures same as the ones I have painted.
Now got a standard bearer in the first lot I painted cant have two
In the same unit I know make him end of line marker bearer give him a red pennant . 39 figures in that unit that help to even the odds on the French Cavalry 20 to Allied 18 so far .Ho for my
20 foot table .
